I would like to start off the review once again by saying many thanks to the HempElf and The Goods team for very generously providing samples and the continued support.
I have reviewed lots of HempElf’s products now here at The CBD Blog and they continue to remain one of my favorite go to vendors for CBD flower.
This week we are back with yet another top quality strain from HempElf with the Lemon Skunk and I’ll have to say it’s one of the most unique, skunky, frosty, gassy, pungent CBD strains I have reviewed so far.
Appearance:
The Lemon Skunk from HempElf is some of the best cured, sticky CBD flower I have come across.
Very frosty, skunky, dense buds, which are absolutely caked in trichomes. The buds almost have a “cheesy” appearance, glistening with trichs.
The flower has a nice light green colour with lots of orange pistils coming through in a typical traditional skunky fashion.
I’m a huge fan of these really sticky, frosty CBD strains like this that are now popping up.
The Lemon Skunk reminds me alot of the old school dutch strains from the 2000’s era with its appearance.
The cure and appearance would rival any real flower, so giving the Lemon Skunk a ten out of ten here.
Taste, Smell & Flavours:
As soon as you crack open the Lemon Skunk pack, you are instantly greeted with a really pleasant zesty, citrus, gassy, diesel, skunky terpenes.
This is one of my favorite terpene profiles that I have come across in CBD flower so far, and some of the other strains I have reviewed have had a milder terp profile that is very similar.
However, the Lemon Skunk takes that citrus, gassy, diesel terpene profile to the next level and is absolutely packed with flavour.
10 out of 10 for taste on this one, as the smell translates and comes through perfect in the flavour. Especially vaporized using dry herb vaporizers.

Effect:
I sampled HempElf’s tasty Lemon Skunk using my two favorite dry herb vape devices, which is primarily the Volcano Vaporizer from Storz & Bickel and the Air 2 Portable Vaporizer from Arizer.
The Lemon Skunk aptly deserves and lives up to its strain name and packs a very potent punch.
I could feel the heavy Indica effect start to build in the eyes, coming on like a traditional skunky strain does.
But also balanced with some nice mild euphoria and mood boost, as you’d expect from a skunk strain once again.
Really enjoyed the effect from the Lemon Skunk, it makes for a strong day time strain when you want something slightly more potent.
Or is a great choice for relaxing at night before bed, due to the heavy Indica body stone/medicinal effect.
Overall:
Another amazing strain from the team over at HempElf and the ever increasing quality of CBD flower continues to blow me away.
The Lemon Skunk has definitely been the top standout strain that I have reviewed so far from HempElf and will be a hard one to beat.
For those looking for a unique terpene profile and great flavour, the Lemon Skunk definitely hits all the spots with its gassy, diesel, skunky terps.
