BUDBROS – Amnesia Haze CBD Flower Review

This wonderful sativa-dominant strain with a high CBD content is undoubtedly one of the flagships on the market.

The bright and intense green buds are covered with a full-bodied layer of resin that provides a floral and fruity scent, whilst limonene and pinene add hints of citrus and sweet, delicate notes.

This strain provides a perfect mix of fragrances reminiscent of a Critical but with the added pungent tone of a Skunk.

The ideal flower for those who want to go about their day with a little extra calm, whilst still being alert and creative.

The CBD Blogger Review

Firstly, I would like to start off the review by once again saying many thanks to the BUDBRO’s team for very generously providing samples of their products to review.

I recently reviewed BUDBROS quality Purple Haze, which was a unique purple CBD phenotype and my first introduction to BUDBROS products.

Up today, we are reviewing BUDBROS tasty, pungent Amnesia Haze.

Smell, Taste & Flavour:

I thought what better place to start off the review with the Amnesia Haze than the tasty smell and flavour.

Upon opening BUDBROS black mylar branded packs, you are greeted with very pungent, piney, gassy, hazey terpenes from the Amnesia Haze.

The Amnesia Haze has that tasty, light citral, gassy, hazey terpene profile that I really love, and it’s one of my favorite for CBD flower.

I usually find the CBD strains that have this gassy, hazey aroma and flavour to be more sativa, uplifting and energizing typically, than the more earthy musky strains which I find to be heavy tiring Indica’s.

Very interesting flavour on the Amnesia Haze, on the inhale you get the light, gassy, hazey, skunky hemp terpenes, but on the exhalation you get a really tasty hashy cannabis flavour that comes over and is something never experienced before with CBD strains.

Going to give the Amnesia Haze a 10 out of 10 flavour here.

It’s nicer and tastier in flavour than many of the earthy real flower that goes about.

Flavour profile: Piney, Gassy, Hazey, Skunky, Hashy

Appearance:

The Amnesia Haze reminds me of the classic Dutch skunky strains from the 2000s era such as the real Amnesia Haze, which used to be one of my favourite cannabis strains to enjoy whilst in Amsterdam and always found it a dependable uplifting Sativa.

We’ve now reached a point where CBD flower resembles the old school skunky weed strains more than the actual “real flower, cali etc” that goes about.

The Amnesia Haze has that classic skunky structure in appearance, light green buds with lots of orange pistils, very frosty, dense nuggets that are caked in trichomes.

The camera unfortunately didn’t manage to pick up just how frosty the Amnesia Haze buds are with trichomes, especially when you start breaking the flower up by hand.

The buds also release that lovely hazey gassy aroma whilst being grinded.

Very well cured and fresh pungent smelling flower overall.

Going to give the Amnesia Haze a 10 out of 10 for the appearance here also, purely because of how much it resembles the actual proper old school Dutch Amnesia Haze weed here.

Effect:

I had the pleasure of sampling the Amnesia Haze both using my trusty go to Volcano Vaporizer from Storz and Bickel and Arizer’s Air 2 Portable Vaporizer.

Great effect from the Amnesia Haze, everything that you could want and expect from an Amnesia and Haze.

The Amnesia Haze is definitely a Sativa, which has a very nice light, uplifting, energizing effect on the body I found.

Makes for a very good day strain as there’s virtually no heavy body load at all or heavy eyes, just a good uplifting, energizing Sativa.

Sativa’s are my favourite and I never manage to come across them often when it comes to real flower.

I find the majority of the strains both CBD and real flower to be heavy tiring Indica’s typically, which is not really suitable for my chronic fatigue.

So I’m always on the lookout for energizing, uplifting and euphoric CBD strains that can bring me back to around the 2000s period when all the racy, uplifting high THC skunky weed strains such as the real Amnesia Haze once dominated the market.

Great effect on the Amnesia Haze overall and definitely one for the Sativa lovers like myself out there or those that love a good classic Dutch weed strain.
